Impossible Card Anyone???

I have been having some fun creating Impossible Cards with the Petal Palette Set.
This card with a stand up piece in the centre is made from one piece of cardstock.

Here it is from all the different angles.

And this is how I made mine.
Everything is in centimetres except for one measurement outlined below.
Start with a 15cm x 10.5cm piece of cardstock.
Score down the centre on the short side.
To get an exact measurement I converted to inches.
10.5cm = 4.2"
Therefore I scored at 2.1"
You could score at 10.3cm as it would be very close.

On the top Mark a point half way along the long side at 7.5cm and draw a line to meet the centre score line.
On the bottom mark a point at 3cm and at 12cm and draw a line to meet the centre score line.

Now cut down each of the three lines to the centre score line as shown.
You have two short pieces on one side of the score line and two larger pieces at the other,
with a centre piece between the two shorter pieces.

You are now going to turn one half of your card -

Turn half of your card piece on the score line towards you.
Top half twisting towards you and the bottom away from you.
The centre piece should stand up.

You should now have a short piece (3cm) and a large piece(7.5cm) on both sides of the score line with a centre section standing up.

To make a template for the designer paper use a piece of card 4.5cm x 5.5cm.
Place it to the edge required and cut out designer paper.

The most important tip I can give you with this card is not to overload the top standing centre piece. If it has too much weight. it won't stand up.
This card was my first one and the pretty centre piece is too heavy for the card.

I hope this has been of some help and you have a go at trying your own Impossible Card.
