Wood Works Inlay.

Featuring: 3D box and card set, Instructions, Wood Textures Paper Stack, Seasonal Layer Thinlets

Oh I am so in love with the Wood Textures Paper Stack p.187.
When I saw this idea from Elizabeth Shannon a UK demo. I was in love.
The "look" of Inlaid Wood is simply amazing.
Don't you agree?
Got this bit of information from Wikipeadia.
Inlay covers a range of techniques in sculpture and the decorative for inserting pieces of contrasting, often coloured materials into depressions in a base object.

This cute card and matching box all made with Wood Textures Paper.

I used the leaf from the Seasonal Layer Thinlets p.216
Cut your leaf twice.
Place a piece of cardstock under your chosen paper and lay the leaf from the other piece in the recessed space. Glue in place.

With the box I have used some enamel dots in Early Expresso around the corners.

Mighty cold and windy today here in Queensland Winter Weather. But bright shining sun. Yesterday was practically Spring Weather. LOL.
Spotted this honeyeater up in the gum tree swinging on the leaves.

Have a great day. Thanks for stopping by Vx
